Buy a few mangoes and put them in a cool place indoors.
If it is a whole box, open the carton and ventilate for about three to five days. If you want to know when it is ready to eat, lightly press around the fruit pedicle until it feels slightly concave and softened before eating.
If the pulp is overripe, wrap the mango in a paper bag or newspaper and place it in a vegetable cabinet refrigerated for no more than two days. Do not wrap it in a plastic bag, as it will easily rot due to moisture.
