Yujing steam heat quarantine treatment plant was established in November 2004 (93 years of the Republic of China). Mr. Su Huanzhi, the mayor of Tainan County at that time, and the general directors of the peasant associations in the main production areas of Aiwen mangoes (Yujing, Nanhua, Nanxi); in view of the rich fruit production in Tainan County, the production of Aiwen mangoes accounted for more than half of the country, but the domestic market demand The storage energy is limited, and the actual export is the only way to survive. However, mangoes and papayas are exported to Japan, South Korea and other countries, and they need steaming and heat quarantine treatment equipment to eliminate oriental fruit fly and melon fruit fly through Japan and South Korea quarantine. However, at that time, there was only one set of steaming quarantine treatment equipment in Taiwan, and it was far away in Taichung County. Not only was it far away from the place of production, but the cost was increased, and the processing energy was too small. The lack of this equipment was a major bottleneck for exporting to Japan, South Korea and other countries! After many efforts and self-raised funds, we finally received a subsidy from the Agriculture Committee of the Executive Yuan to set up a mango steaming and heat treatment plant with a maximum processing capacity of 10 metric tons at the current location (No. 61, Wangmingli Mansion, Yujing District, Tainan City).

This facility is complete and has passed the certification and registration of the Japanese quarantine officer. It will be a major breakthrough for the export of mangoes, papayas and other fruits in this county to Japan, South Korea and other countries! So far, the export market of Aiwen mango has been developed, and there has been significant growth in performance every year. It has a great effect in improving the rural economy and increasing the income of fruit farmers! On November 19, 2022, the two sets of 5-ton new steam heat treatment equipment that the Bureau of Agriculture of the Tainan City Government sought from the Agriculture Committee have been successfully installed and tested. In the future, it will be the best weapon for Nanying Company to export mangoes!
